How the Exact Online integration works.

Mijn Bestel App is a B2B ordering portal that runs directly on your Exact Online administration. Items, prices, stock and customers come from Exact, and every order goes back as a sales order. There is no second system to maintain.

Log in with your Exact Online account

The integration uses the official Exact Online API with OAuth, the login method Exact itself prescribes.

No password with us

You log in on the Exact Online login page. Mijn Bestel App only receives an access key and never sees your password.

You choose the administration

If you have several administrations, you choose which one to connect after logging in. The subscription is per administration.

Revoke at any time

Access runs through your own Exact user. Revoke it in Exact and the integration stops.

Which data comes from Exact Online

The first time, Mijn Bestel App loads everything, usually within a few minutes. After that it only fetches the changes.

Items with description, item code, barcode, unit and picture
Item groups, assortments and their properties, for the filter buttons and the customer groups
Sales prices, price lists with periods and quantity breaks, and discounts per customer
Stock per warehouse
Customers, contact persons and delivery addresses
Sales orders, including the orders that were not placed through the app

How current the data is

Within a minute

Exact Online reports changes to items, stock, customers, contact persons and sales orders through webhooks. Mijn Bestel App fetches them within about a minute.

Every night

Price lists, quantity breaks and the remaining data are updated every night, using the API calls that are left at the end of the day.

Right after an order

After every order the app fetches the orders of that customer again, so the customer sees the new order right away.

What you see in Exact Online

Every order becomes a normal sales order in Exact Online. You process it as always: picking, delivery and invoicing.

In the name of the right customer
With the items and quantities, the reference, the requested delivery date, the delivery address and the notes of the customer
In the warehouse you chose; when needed the app picks a warehouse to which all stock items are linked, so Exact accepts the order
With the fixed items you want on every order, such as shipping costs
Without prices from the app: Exact Online calculates the prices itself, with your own price lists and discounts

API limits of Exact Online

Exact Online allows 60 API calls per minute and 5,000 per day per administration. Mijn Bestel App uses the Exact Sync API, which returns up to 1,000 rows per call and only fetches changes. That leaves plenty for your other integrations.

When the limit per minute is reached, the app waits until Exact allows calls again and then continues.

An Exact Online administration in which you work with sales orders, such as Exact Online Wholesale or Manufacturing
An Exact Online user with rights on items, accounts and sales orders
Contact persons with an e-mail address at your customers in Exact Online

Frequently asked questions

Is Mijn Bestel App an official Exact Online integration?

Yes. Mijn Bestel App uses the official Exact Online API with OAuth and is made by Industrial IT, official Exact Online App Partner and maker of the Barcode Scan App for Exact Online.

Do I have to enter items or customers twice?

No. Everything comes from Exact Online. What you change in Exact is in the app within about a minute; price lists and quantity breaks are updated every night.

Does Mijn Bestel App send prices to Exact Online?

No. The app shows the customer a price indication based on your price lists and discounts, but the sales order goes to Exact without prices. Exact Online calculates the prices itself.

Do I see orders entered in Exact in the app?

Yes. The customer sees all their sales orders from Exact Online, including the orders your sales office entered, and can reorder each of them.

Does it work with several administrations?

Yes. You choose the administration per login. The subscription is per Exact Online administration.

What happens when Exact Online is briefly unavailable?

The app tries again. In the browser the customer gets a message and can order later; the Android app keeps the order and sends it as soon as possible.
