AI assistant
Ask your assistant for what you need. It searches the catalogue of your supplier, prepares earlier orders again and places the order, but only after you have confirmed the summary.
I prepared order 20517 for delivery on Friday 9 October:
Shall I place the order?
Type what you want, the way you would ask a colleague. The assistant uses your own data with this supplier.
Order my last order again
The assistant puts the same items and quantities in a concept order. You change what you need and confirm.
What do I need to seal a bathroom?
The assistant searches the catalogue and suggests matching items, with stock and (when your supplier shows them) prices.
Which items do I order most often?
The assistant looks at your order history with this supplier, so you quickly see what to restock.
Deliver it to the building site next week
The assistant changes the delivery date, reference, remarks and delivery address of your concept order.
The connection uses the open Model Context Protocol (MCP) with a secure login. Any assistant that supports custom MCP connectors can use it.
When you see Linked apps in the menu of Mijn Bestel App, the connection is on. If not, ask your supplier.
In the connector settings of your assistant, choose to add a custom MCP connector (in Claude: Settings, Connectors) and enter the address below.
Log in with the e-mail address and password of Mijn Bestel App and click Allow. Your password is not passed to the assistant.
For example: Order my last order again. You always get a summary to confirm first.

No order until you have approved the summary with items, quantities, delivery date and address. At most 20 orders a day through an assistant.
The assistant sees what you see in the app: the catalogue of your supplier and your own orders. Never data of other customers.
Under Linked apps you stop the connection with one click. Your supplier can switch off or revoke connections too.
It can find and recommend items and view stock, plus prices when your supplier shows them. It sees your orders with this supplier, prepares earlier orders again, fills your concept orders and places orders. You see the same concept orders in the app.
The connection works with any assistant that supports remote custom MCP connectors, such as Claude and ChatGPT. Whether your plan with that provider includes it is up to the provider.
No. Placing an order always takes two steps. First the assistant gets a summary with items, quantities, delivery date and delivery address, which it has to show you. Only when you agree is the order sent. If the order changes in the meantime, a new confirmation is needed. At most 20 orders a day can be placed through an assistant.
Only what you see in Mijn Bestel App yourself: the catalogue of your supplier, your own orders, concept orders and delivery addresses. It never sees data of other customers. It sees prices only when your supplier shows prices.
The data the assistant asks for goes to the provider of that assistant (for example Anthropic for Claude or OpenAI for ChatGPT) and falls under its terms and privacy policy. Mijn Bestel App never shares your password. You log in at Mijn Bestel App itself, and the assistant only gets an access key, which we store unreadable, as a hash. For each call we record which function was used, for support and to protect against abuse. We keep that record for 90 days.
In Mijn Bestel App, click Revoke under Linked apps; the connection stops immediately. Your supplier can revoke a connection too. When your account is blocked or you are no longer a contact person, the connection stops by itself.
Nothing extra. The connection is part of the Mijn Bestel App subscription of your supplier. The terms of the provider apply to the assistant itself.
Connect your administration, invite your first customer and receive the first order today. We will help you get started.
